Dane opens his 2021-2022 season in Opera Memphis's season-opening, immersive, new production of Pagliacci alongside Metropolitan Opera soprano Chanáe Curtis. Spring Awakening
DANE JOINS SOPRANO ROCHELLE BARD, VIONLIST JOSE CUETO, AND MAESTRO JAMES HARP IN A LIVESTREAMED CONCERT FROM BALTIMORE, MD
Maryland Opera invited Mr. Suarez, Ms. Bard, and Mr. Cueto to the home of Artistic Director Mo. James Harp to perform a stunning evening of live, socially-distanced music to usher in spring. The program featured arias and duets from Madama Butterfly, Werther, Eugene Onegin, Die Walküre, L'amico Fritz, and violin pieces including "Spring" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. The Prayer
DANE JOINS FORCES WITH MEMPHIS R&B SINGER, JESSICA RAY, TO RECORD DAVID FOSTER'S HIT "THE PRAYER"
The new Opera Memphis webseries "Variations on a Theme" will focus on the captivating and dynamic Memphis Music scene, drawing parallels between the various genres that thrive here and the incredible talent within this city. "Variations on a Theme" will be hosted by the endlessly charming Shirley Hill, and every month will feature a rising Memphis star and an Opera Memphis talent to discuss their careers, genres, inspirations, and what connects us all: the power of music.
Episode 1 will feature Memphis R&B princess, Jessica Ray and Dane Suarez. As a special preview, they performed "The Prayer" made famous by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. Dane and Jessica met in December 2020 singing with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra at The Cannon Center for the Performing Arts.
Beethoven's 250th
DANE JOINED OPERA MEMPHIS & WKNO FOR THEIR THIRD THURSDAY BROADCAST CELEBRATING BEETHOVEN'S 250TH BIRTHDAY
Opera Memphis and Memphis's local NPR station (WKNO) have teamed up to air a themed live broadcast on the third Thursday of each month. For November, it was a celebration of Beethoven's 250th birthday. Virtual Flute
OPERA NEO PRODUCES A VIRTUAL A VIRTUAL PRODUCTION OF THE MAGIC FLUTE
While the cancelation of Opera Neo's public events (including Dane's debut as Faust) is deeply disappointing, they are creating an online production of The Magic Flute. This pioneering production directed by David Radamés Toro and conducted by Peter Kozma, will feature Opera Neo's talented young artists, all performing from their own homes. The virtual project will not only bring the joy of Mozart’s music into the homes of the San Diego community, but also will offer much-needed artistic fulfillment and a chance for collaboration to its young artists, orchestra members, visual designers, and production staff. Dane will perform the role of First Man in Armour.

OPERA AMERICA BRINGS TOGETHER OVER 100 OPERA SINGERS UNITED IN SONG
Dane joined over 100 opera singers including Matthew Polenzani, Morris Robinson, Jennifer Johnson Cano, Edward Parks, Ailyn Pérez, and Sasha Cooke in a piece by Paul Moravec and Mark Campbell to help provide light to those in and around the operatic community affected by COVID-19.
